Description
An extra large countertop pan and four spacious refrigeration drawers keep ingredients organized and close at hand with True’s TFP-48-18M-D-4 food prep unit. Manufactured with the very best and highest quality materials, True’s prep units are built for a long life.
Appearance
The unit’s top, front, and ends are constructed with an attractive and durable stainless steel, combined with an aluminum finished backing to match. Inside, the walls are lined with NSF approved, clear coated aluminum. The stainless steel floors feature coved corners to make cleaning up messes much easier.
The 2 1/2” diameter castors allow the unit to be moved around for cleaning and maintenance. The locks located on the front set keep it in place when preparing food.
Refrigeration System
The TFP-48-18M-D-4 is energy efficient and circulates the environmentally friendly (CFC free) 134A refrigerant. The forced-air design maintains temperatures inside the food pans and cabinet between .5°C and 5°C (33°F-41°F) at all times. Ecomate insulation that’s foamed-in-place throughout the cabinet (including drawer facings), also helps keep everything inside cool, while conserving energy.
The TFP-48-18M-D-4 complies with and is listed under ANSI/NSF-7.
Food Preparation
The countertop prep area comes with 18 one-sixth size, 4” deep polycarbonate and NSF approved food pans giving you quick access to even more ingredients. The top section is also designed to fit 6” deep pans and can be rearranged with other varying sized food pans with the available divider bars.
An 8” deep, full-length white polyethylene cutting board provides enough room for preparing sandwiches and salads right on top, where all your ingredients are within reach. It’s removable, making it much easier to clean both the board and prep unit.
The foam insulated lid and hood keep everything inside the food pan cool while reducing condensation so its contents are always fresh.
Cabinet Storage
The four drawers on this unit are very spacious and can accommodate one full-size (12”x 20”x 6”) and three one-ninth size food pans or six one-sixth size and three one-ninth size pans (drawer pans are sold separately). All of which can be configured in different layouts using divider bars to better suit your needs.
The heavy-duty stainless steel drawers, rollers, and gaskets can all be easily removed when necessary for cleaning. Each drawer is also outfitted with a 12” long, built-in handle that has been foamed-in-place to ensure it remains attached.
