Perfect for smaller restaurants, cafés, sandwich shops, and more, this refrigerated prep table features a small footprint yet provides up to 14 cubic feet of interior storage space. The prep station on top comes equipped with 18 1/6-size, 4-inch deep plastic food pans as well as stainless steel pan dividers for storing your most common toppings and fixings right at your fingertips. A reversible 12-inch deep and 0.75-inch thick nylon cutting board extends across the entire width of the unit providing you with sufficient space for preparing all your popular menu items.
Powerful Refrigeration System
Traulsen’s compact prep table operates with a balanced and self-contained refrigeration system using the environmentally friendly R-134a refrigerant. Its front breathing design allows for “zero-clearance” installation making it ideal for smaller kitchens or prep areas since the unit can be installed directly up against a back wall or in between other kitchen equipment.
The refrigerated base effectively maintains internal temperatures between 34°F and 38°F (1.1°C and 3.3°C), ensuring food safety at all times. Both the cabinet and doors are insulated with a high-density 2-inch thick and CFC-free polyurethane insulation that helps keep the cold air inside and better maintain desired temperatures.
High Quality Design and Construction
This Traulsen sandwich prep table features a durable stainless steel construction on the cabinet’s exterior front, sides, lid, and doors. The interior is made from an anodized aluminum while the cabinet’s outer back and bottom are galvanized steel.
The doors are self-closing with a 105° stay-open feature that helps ensure the cooler doesn’t get left open accidentally while also making it easier to load and unload bulk products at one time. The cabinet features two powder-coated steel shelves per door that can be adjusted to varying heights to suit your needs.
This unit is also equipped with a set of four heavy-duty 4-inch casters that make it easy to move the unit for regular cleaning and maintenance.
