The EL-30 steam kettle operates on an electrically powered self-generating closed steam system. The lower 2/3 of the unit feature a steam jacket design. Distilled water is contained within the double walled system and gets heated to evenly cook contents inside the kettle. This method eliminates hot spots that are common when using a stock pot and range.
This heavy-duty kettle is NSF certified and extremely durable. It’s constructed out of 304 stainless steel with a #4 finish that’s guaranteed to stand up in high traffic kitchens. The liner of this model is made from 316 stainless steel to protect against the effects of cooking with highly acidic contents. It features a counterbalanced stainless steel domed lid and is mounted on three stainless steel legs with holes that can secure it to the floor.
The EL-30 has a temperature range of 165°F to 285°F that gets controlled through an integrated thermostat.
