The EPX-5 steamer is the perfect solution for all your steaming needs. It fits five standard 2.5” deep steam pans but can accommodate others of varying depths thanks to the removable pan supports provided. This unit doesn’t require a plumbing connection and instead features a built-in water reservoir with a removable steam diffuser plate that prevents food from falling into it. An indicator light on the exterior of the machine conveniently lets you know when it’s time to add more water.
This boiler-free convection steamer is NSF certified and energy efficient. It’s constructed out of 304 stainless steel with a satin finish that’s sure to stand up in high traffic kitchens. The chamber is made from a single piece of 316 stainless steel and features coved corners that make for an easy clean.
Operating and maintaining the steamer couldn’t be easier thanks to the fully removable panel and simple controls. It features a 60-minute electric timer as well as an illuminated power switch that sets the machine to timed cooking, off, or constant steam. The steam flow also shuts off automatically if the door is opened while the unit is on, preventing injury to workers.
