A kitchen knife from the Samura Blacksmith line is distinguished not only by functionality, but also by a special aesthetic appearance. The AUS-8 forged steel blade is hand-finished and has an uneven pattern that the craftsmen call the Lunar Surface. The Hammered Steel coating is created by blackening, bluing, forms an oxide film on the blade, which gives it a luxurious shade. Each blade has its own unique pattern, giving the product exclusivity and originality. In addition, the heterogeneity of the surface facilitates cutting and prevents sticking of products. The single-layer blade is sharpened to a minimum angle on 5000 grit water stones, hardened to a hardness of 58 HRC and remains sharp for a very long time. After using the knife, it is recommended to wash it immediately and wipe it dry.
