The unit’s stainless steel exterior will look great in any kitchen or shop while providing the durability needed for extended use. On the back of the unit, a GalFan coated steel backing prevents corrosion.
Inside the cabinet are NSF approved clear coated aluminum lined walls with stainless steel floors featuring the all-important coved corners that make cleaning up any messes much easier.
The 5” stem castors allow the unit to be easily moved for as required for cleaning or maintenance. With the locks on the front set, it won’t budge while in use.
The TSSU-48-10-HC has a self-contained capillary tube system that uses the natural and eco-friendly R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant. With a zero ozone depletion potential (ODP) and a global warming potential (GWP) of 3, you can be confident that your business is helping reduce the amount of harmful emissions in the air.
The patented forced-air design keeps the temperature within the food pans and cabinet between .5°C and 5°C (33°F-41°F) at all times. The high-density polyurethane insulation that has been foamed-in-place throughout the cabinet (doors included) helps keep the cold temperatures inside, using less energy to do so.
The TSSU-48-10-HC complies with ANSI/NSF-7.
Food Prep Station
The sandwich and salad unit comes equipped with 10 one-sixth size clear polycarbonate food pans so you can begin using using it right away. The countertop pan can also accommodate varying sized pan configurations, including food pans up to 6” deep (sold separately) with the available divider bars.
A spacious 11 3/4” deep and 1/2” thick, full-length cutting board provides plenty of space for chopping up fruits and vegetables or preparing sandwiches and salads. Made out of an NSF approved white polyethylene material, this removable cutting board is extremely durable but easy to clean.
Cabinets and Shelving
The interior of the TSSU-48-10-HC food prep unit holds four shelves composed of a heavy-duty PVC coated wires with shelf clips that allow them to be adjusted to different heights. Both doors on the cabinet are self-closing with a 90 degree stay-open feature.
The 12” long door handles are built into the unit and have been foamed-in-place to keep them permanently attached.
