Description
The DoughXpress TXM-20 16" Manual Tortilla Press is an economic, high-efficiency machine designed for low-to-medium volume commercial production of tortillas and flatbreads. Engineered for simplicity and speed, it allows operations like taquerías, delis, and bakeries to achieve high throughput, capable of producing approximately 300-400 tortillas/Hour. The 16" x 20" rectangular aluminum platens maximize the usable cooking surface, enabling the creation of multiple small tortillas (up to 6 at once) or large single crusts up to 16" diameter.
Consistency and quality control are guaranteed by the integrated heating system and precise digital management. The press features dual heated platens (upper and lower) that reach up to 450°F (232°C), which is crucial for pressing dough immediately out of refrigeration and preventing it from shrinking back. Control is simplified via a digital control panel that includes both temperature and timer controls. The thickness is easily adjusted to achieve a variable range, ensuring every pressed product is uniform in size and thickness.
