Eeach plate undergoes a single-firing process at temperatures up to 1180°C. This creates an exceptionally strong bond between the clay and the reactive Sunset Red glaze, yielding remarkable durability and chip resistance. Designed with practical functionality in mind, the surface includes a graduated groove built to stabilize various cup sizes without slipping. Fine stoneware pieces are highly resistant to thermal shock, withstanding variations between -20°C and 250°C (0°F to 500°F). Maximum recommended thermal variation is 180°C (350°F).
