The Costa Nova Marrakesh Soup/Pasta Plate is a versatile piece of serveware designed for commercial kitchens seeking durable and stylish dining solutions. Ideal for presenting soups, pasta dishes, or other main courses, this plate combines functional performance with a distinctive aesthetic.
Each plate is crafted from Ecogres, an innovative, eco-friendly material derived from recycled clays and glazes. It features a unique reactive eucalyptus green glaze on the interior, complemented by a sandy, unglazed exterior that provides a natural, authentic tactile contrast. The design, inspired by Moroccan flora and culture, was created by French designer Christian Tortu.
Beyond its aesthetic appeal, the Marrakesh plate offers practical durability. It is highly resistant to thermal shock and can withstand temperatures between -20°C and 250°C (0°F - 500°F), making it suitable for oven, microwave, dishwasher, and freezer use. For optimal long-term durability, the maximum recommended rapid thermal variation is 180°C (350°F).
