Hickory is the most popular hardwood that gives that sweet, smoky flavor traditional in Southern-style cooking. Good with just about everything. When in doubt, use hickory! Our pellets include no fillers, binders or additives. Pellets are packaged in a heavy duty plastic bag for ease of handling and storage. All Cookshack pellets are blend with 60% oak and produce just 3% ash.
