To help get you back on your feet, we have provided a MUST DO list for re-opening:
To assure the health & safety of your customers and staff, the first thing you need to do is clean and sanitize your restaurant from top to bottom. Whether you prefer to clean yourself or hire a cleaning company, this step is the most crucial aspect of reopening.
In order to sustain steady cleanliness and sterilization of your restaurant, implement a thorough cleaning schedule to maintain sanitation standards.

Social distancing practices must be practiced to assure the health and safety of customers and staff. In doing so, we can stop the spread and keep everyone safe!
Below are some bylaws and key procedures to follow in order to maintain a safe restaurant environment.
According to City of Toronto Guidelines ‘A minimum of two meters/six feet between each edge of every table, with allowance for movement and seated patrons (where applicable) AND No more than 50% of the rated capacity available for use’ are Required.
Having set guidelines and procedures will help staff and customers feel secure in your restaurant!
Many businesses had to lay off employees because of closures or limited work. Since they have been out of work for some time, re-training and educating staff on new safety practices is essential to a successful reopening.
Without a doubt, you must be eager to get customers flowing in. Make sure you keep your customers safe and provide them with a great experience!
Let customers know you’ve accomplished all necessary procedures to assure their safety.
Times are tough, and being adaptable is more important than ever. Stay organized and create a plan in order to be updated along the way. Once you get your restaurant up and running, things will begin to fall into place. Stay positive, stay safe and know that we are all in this together!
