To reach maximum production, ambient air temperature should be 70 degrees Fahrenheit and water should be 50 degrees Fahrenheit. This air-cooled unit uses R404-A refrigerant to generate cool temperatures, while fans direct air across its condenser. Its self-contained condenser configuration simplifies installation, though it shouldn't be placed in areas where the ambient temperature may exceed 100 degrees Fahrenheit.
This Hoshizaki KM-420MAJ ice machine head measures 22 inches wide by 273⁄8 inches deep by 28 inches high and is made of exceptionally durable stainless steel that resists rust and corrosion through daily use in demanding kitchens. To inhibit bacterial growth between regularly scheduled cleanings, it's treated with an antimicrobial agent, and its snap-fit components, panels, and air filter are accessible and simple to remove to ease maintenance and cleaning.
