Description
The Hoshizaki KM-161BWJ undercounter ice maker produces crescent cube ice, one of the hardest types of ice cubes. Because the cubes are hard, they melt slowly, and the unique shape enables them to fit together tightly in the glass for better product displacement. This unit is water cooled, meaning it transfers heat more efficiently and uses more water than an air-cooled unit.
Fitted with a self-contained condenser and compact design, the Hoshizaki KM-161BWJ undercounter ice maker can fit into areas without much space available. It can hold as much as 78 pounds of ice in its built-in storage bin, and the bin opens from the front for streamlined access. Suitable for smaller, low-volume establishments, this ice machine head produces as much as 153 pounds of ice per 24 hours in ideal conditions.
